Meet the Team

Danny Kang, Director, OTR/L, CHT

Danny graduated from University of Southern California’s Occupational Therapy program in 2003, and went on to serve in the U.S. Army for four years. He received training for CHT (certified hand therapy) upper extremities injuries, such as the neck, shoulders, elbows, and hands. He accumulated the required 4,000 hours of professional hand therapy experience post graduation. He has been in practice for over 13 years, with extensive experience in outpatient rehabilitation, with a focus on sports related upper extremities injuries. In his free time, Danny enjoys power lifting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, hiking and following major sports, such as football, basketball, and baseball.

Sarah Cho, Garden Grove Supervisor, MS, OTR/L
I completed my undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S in Kinesiology and then pursued my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) degree at Stanbridge University. I am a certified practitioner for the Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) technique through HawkGrips. I love to play softball, explore new foods, and play with my pet dog Gizmo. I pursued a degree in occupational therapy because of my passion to assist individuals to engage in their meaningful occupations with maximum levels of independence. I enjoy getting to know my clients and creating a client-centered care depending on each unique individuals’ need.

Andrew Dyjak, Los Angeles Co-owner/Supervisor MA, MS, OTR/L, CMT
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for 10 years in Poland and U.S. I have a passion for
learning about the body and manual therapy. Since moving to the U.S, I finished my Masters in Occupational Therapy from Stanbridge University. In my spare time, I love to swim and play basketball. I have an amazing wife and two beautiful children that I love to spend time with.

Emil Methipara, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Emil has been practicing occupational therapy since December of 2017 since graduating from Northern Illinois
University in 2014 with a B.S in Kinesiology: Preventative and Rehabilitative Exercise Science and receiving his doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD) in August of 2017. Emil is familiar with and has treated many different shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and finger injuries. He really enjoys interacting with patients and helping them improve during the rehabilitation process. Outside of work, Emil enjoys playing basketball, working out, reading about business, and hanging out with friends and family.

Francez Ibanez, OTA
Hello, my name is Francez. I graduated from American Career College with Occupational Therapy Assistant, OTA. Also, I am a certified HawkGrips Practitioner in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). I chose the occupational therapy field because I want to provide a better lifestyle and assist people in my community.
On my spare time, I love to do outdoor activities such as fishing and camping. I am a foodie, who loves to try varieties of food. I have a passion for technology, especially building computers.

Maria Medrano, COTA/L
Hola! My name is Maria, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, License (COTA/L). I work in both pediatric and hand occupational therapy fields. Occupational therapy is a beautiful and rewarding career because I love helping as many people achieve a healthier and better life. Before my brother passed away, he was receiving occupational therapy treatments, which, inspired myself to follow the path in becoming an occupational therapy assistant. In the near future, I will continue my education to become a Doctor of Occupational Therapy.
During my free time, I enjoy working out, playing volleyball and trying delicious foods. I have volunteered at the Special Olympics because I always want to give back to the community and support athletes from all backgrounds.

Priscilla Celis, OTA
I graduated from American Career College with Occupational Therapy Assistant and Pharmacy Technician. I have studied as a nurse back in the Philippines but found true passion for occupational therapy. I love working at High Five Hand Therapy and Rehab because I see each client reaching an improved health/life goal. I have a wonderful husband and lovely two-year-old child that I spend all my free time with. I love to play and watch
volleyball and golf.

Thu Vu, IASTM Practitioner
My name is Thu Vu. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. I have experience in the medical field as a pharmacy technician for over 9 years with CVS/Pharmacy. I am continuing my education in pursuit of obtaining a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and/or Doctoral of Science in Occupational Therapy. I have a passion in helping as many individuals to achieve a happier, better, and healthier lifestyle. I had opportunities to complete my internship/volunteer with the U.S Men’s National Volleyball, UCI Men’s Volleyball, UCLA Men’s Volleyball, Anaheim Regional Medical Center and High Five Hand Therapy and Rehab. I enjoy playing and watching all types of sports such as basketball, soccer, football, volleyball and etc. I love to spend as much time with family and friends.
